Abdul Matiyn is a dedicated teacher of Qur'anic Arabic with a lifelong passion for helping students understand the language of the Qur'an. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his Arabic journey in the Ansaarullah Community, where he learned to speak, read, write, and properly recite the Qur'an.

He later graduated from Ansaarullah Arabic University and earned an Arabic Teaching Certification in Berlin, Germany, in 2010. Since then, he has continued to deepen his knowledge by studying with respected Arabic teachers and shaykhs throughout the Muslim world — from Makkah and Madinah, to Morocco, Egypt, and The Gambia — where he immersed himself in the Arabic language and Islamic scholarship.

To this day, Abdul Matiyn continues to travel annually to study with native Arabic-speaking teachers from across North Africa and Europe, ensuring his teaching remains authentic, practical, and rooted in traditional learning.

His mission is to make Qur'anic Arabic simple, engaging, and accessible for students of all backgrounds — whether you're learning the alphabet, improving your recitation, or seeking to understand the meanings of the Qur'an directly.
